My first all-girls trip was absolutely amazing; I felt so liberated

Television actress Simple Kaul recently opened up about her first-ever all-girls trip to the Maldives, calling it one of the most memorable and liberating experiences of her life.

The actress said the vacation was filled with laughter, adventure, and moments that she will always cherish.Sharing details about the getaway, Simple revealed that she travelled with her close friends from Ziddi Dil Maane Na, including Diljot, Nirisha and Kaveri. "We stayed together for the first time and had so much fun," she said. Speaking about her friends, she added that Kaveri was extremely loving and supportive, while she and Diljot have always shared great chemistry.

"Travelling with friends whom you truly vibe with is one of the best feelings," she said. One of the highlights of the trip was her first seaplane ride, an experience she had never imagined for herself. "The whole experience of seeing the vast blue sea, its endlessness and the tiny islands in between was so exciting. We crossed over a few buildings, and then so many islands, and every island looked so charming from above," she shared.

For Simple, the destination was only one part of the experience. The real joy came from spending uninterrupted time with her friends. "What I cherish the most is all the time I got to spend with these girls. Every moment was fun," she said. The actress also fondly recalled her co-star and friend, Nirisha, who kept the group entertained throughout the trip. "She's the most hilarious and funny girl. Without her, the trip would have been absolutely zero," she said.Despite getting very little sleep, Simple said the trip was surprisingly relaxing. The group would get excited about waking up early so they wouldn't miss breakfast, heading to the gym, clicking countless pictures, and then taking part in adventures.

"Even if we slept late, surprisingly, on a holiday you never feel like you've slept less because your heart is full and filled with joy," she explained. The Maldives getaway also turned into a journey of self-discovery for the actress. "Whenever you travel, you grow as a person. There's so much to see, understand, feel, taste and experience. Travel broadens your horizons," she said.Calling it her first all-girls trip, Simple concluded, "It was absolutely kick-ass. I felt so liberated.
