Six-day ‘Siddha Aradhana’ at Varur from Oct. 31

A six-day ‘Siddha Aradhana’ programme would be held at ‘Sumeru Parvata’ of Navagraha Teertha Kshetra at Varur near Hubballi from October 31.

Addressing presspersons at Varur on Saturday, Jain monk Sri Gunadhar Nandi Maharaj said that the special programme had been organised as part of Deepavali celebrations and it would be held for six days.

The programme had been organised praying for the welfare of all and various rituals and programme would be held continuously for six days.

On the ongoing controversy surrounding the seer of Kanheri Mutt, who has been barred from entering Vijayapura district for two months, the Jain Monk said that the Lingayat community had given a lot to society and someone should intervene to end the ongoing conflict within the community.
