Superintendent of Police V. Ratna on Tuesday (September 02, 2025) inspected the Ganesh immersion processions in Kadiri town of Sri Sathya Sai district, and directed the officials to ensure that the Shobha Yatra passes without traffic jams or law and order problems.
The SP conducted inspections at arterial junctions, immersion points, and sensitive localities in the town, including Theru Bazaar and the mosque area. She reviewed the security arrangements with the Deputy SPs of Kadiri, Dharmavaram, Puttaparthi, and Hindupur, instructing the police personnel to remain vigilant and take all necessary precautions to prevent untoward incidents.
Later, Ms. Ratna monitored the processions of Ganesh idols from the command control room at Kadiri police station, directing the personnel to deploy drones for surveillance.
