SYBO, the mobile game studio behind the hit title Subway Surfers, has announced a new game in the same universe called Subway Surfers City. The game, which is scheduled for a global launch on February 26, 2026, will be available on both iOS and Android platforms.
Subway Surfers recently surpassed 4.5 billion lifetime downloads in 2025, becoming one of the most downloaded mobile games worldwide. The new release aims to expand the franchise with fresh locations, new characters, and updated gameplay features. Subway Surfers City registrations started
SYBO has also opened pre-registration for players, offering early rewards ahead of launch. The company says the upcoming title will build on more than a decade of the brand’s popularity. For the first time, the game will offer players the ability to unlock and master three brand-new game modes:
- Classic Endless: The beloved fast-paced runner experience where players chase high scores and discover new paths, even on their thousandth run.
- City Tour: A new finite game mode where players progress through levels with distinct goals, exploring districts to find hidden stars and complete missions.
- Events: A rotation of finite runs and trials designed to challenge even the most advanced players’ skills.
Players can pre-register now to unlock exclusive rewards before the game releases.
The title will follow a free-to-play model.Subway Surfers City will offer four main areas for players to explore and race through: The Docks, Southline, Sunrise Blvd, and Delorean Park. Each season will add new content, including additional neighborhoods, characters, outfits, and hoverboards.
