BJP's Dharmendra Pradhan slams opposition over vote fraud charge, defends poll body
In a press conference, Dharmendra Pradhan launched a sharp attack on the opposition, particularly the Congress party and Rahul Gandhi. Pradhan stated the opposition is engaging in a 'well-thought-out strategy to create instability in the country.' He accused them of spreading lies on various issues, including EVMs and the Rafael deal, and of questioning the integrity of the Indian Army. Pradhan asserted that the opposition's criticism of the Election Commission is an attempt to undermine constitutional bodies, especially when electoral outcomes are not in their favour. He alleged that this is part of a political strategy based on creating fear and using infiltrators as a vote bank. Pradhan challenged the opposition to present evidence for their claims through proper channels, such as an affidavit, instead of creating 'anarchy'.
