Telangana continues to top revenue surplus States in SOTR

Telangana continues to be on top, just behind Haryana, in terms of State’s Own Tax Revenues (SOTR).

The State’s own tax revenue, as a percentage of revenue receipts, is highest at an impressive 76.2% among the revenue surplus States in the country. However, it falls a shade lower than Haryana, a State that forms part of revenue-deficit states, at 79%.
