TGCHE submits its annual report to Governor

Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) Chairman V. Balakista Reddy submitted a report on the initiatives and reforms taken by it to Governor Jishnu Dev Varma at Lok Bhavan on Monday (January 05).

The report covering developments from October 2024 to December 2025 present an overview of the policy interventions, academic reforms, governance initiatives, and student measures in alignment with the State government and the Centre’s National Education Policy (NEP)–2020, an official release stated.

Mr. Reddy, it said, highlighted key measures such as the State-wide revision of undergraduate curricula, transparent conduct of CETs, and strengthening of Degree Online Services Telangana (DOST) admissions, steps towards academia–industry collaborations, among other.

Further, he also explained the advisory contributions it made to the State government on faculty service conditions, establishment of new universities and institutions, expansion of RGUKT campuses, and initiatives aimed at inclusivity, skill development, and employability of students.
