Rockstar Games, embroiled in a controversy over alleged employee firings for unionizing, may have inadvertently confirmed several GTA 6 leaks. Reports suggest a dual-protagonist system, a massive Vice City, a more brutal wanted system, hundreds of enterable interiors, and a dynamic fitness system are all in the game, fueling fan excitement.
If you’ve been following GTA 6 news even a little, you already know the drill - rumours everywhere, “leaks” every other week, and everyone on Reddit acting like a secret Rockstar insider.
For years it’s been impossible to tell what’s legit and what’s pure fan fiction. Rockstar is famously tight-lipped, so most of us just shrugged and waited. And then things suddenly got messy.Rockstar recently landed in the middle of a major controversy. A bunch of former employees said they were fired for trying to unionise. Rockstar, of course, says that isn’t the story at all. According to the company, the people who were let go weren’t punished for organising - they were allegedly involved in leaking GTA 6 info through outside channels that included a rival studio and even a journalist. Here’s the funny part: in the process of defending itself, Rockstar may have basically admitted that some of those big GTA 6 “leaks” everyone argued about for ages were actually real.
Reports suggest several of the long-discussed features are legit. One of the biggest is the dual-protagonist setup, not just switching characters like GTA 5, but actually controlling Jason and Lucia together in certain situations.
Think companion-style gameplay instead of simple swapping, which instantly opens up a lot of wild mission possibilities.Another thing that now looks all but confirmed? Vice City being absolutely massive. Not just a nostalgia trip, but the biggest urban playground in the franchise, with surrounding areas and varied regions similar to how Red Dead Redemption 2 spread out its world. Basically, the kind of map where you get distracted for three hours and forget what your mission even was.The wanted system also seems to be getting more brutal. A sixth star is reportedly back on the table, with military-level response teams, riot gear, smarter roadblocks, K-9 units - the kind of chaos that makes “just one more rampage” turn into a full-blown survival scenario. The world itself sounds more alive than ever, too. Rumours point toward hundreds of enterable interiors - not a handful, but over 700 shops and buildings you can actually walk into.
Compared to GTA 5’s roughly 100 interiors, that’s a huge upgrade and a dream for players who love wandering and breaking into every possible space just because they can.
There are also spicier leaks people are talking about - like both male and female strippers appearing in-game - supposedly to balance things out for the huge number of women who play GTA now.And for everyone who loved gym-grinding CJ in San Andreas, this will hit home: the dynamic weight and fitness system is apparently returning.
Jason and Lucia will be able to bulk up, slim down, or get out of shape depending on how you play. Eat junk, skip workouts, fight constantly, hit the gym - it’ll change their bodies, stats, and even animations. So yeah, Rockstar probably isn’t thrilled about having to indirectly validate all of this while trying to clean up a legal mess. But for fans, it’s pure fuel. After years of silence, arguments, and blurry leaked clips, it finally feels like the puzzle pieces are locking into place. The wait goes on… but the hype just went through the roof.
