Three youths die, two sustain injuries in Buxar bike collision

In a heart-wrenching incident near Rohini Bhan village, a fierce head-on motorcycle crash claimed the lives of three young individuals, leaving two others in critical condition. Among the victims was a 25-year-old fitness trainer, who had just returned to his roots. The sheer destruction of the motorcycles and the distance they were propelled testify to the accident's brutality.

Buxar: Three youths died and two others sustained serious injuries in a head-on collision between two motorcycles near Rohini Bhan village under Rajpur police station area in Buxar district on Wednesday.One of the deceased was identified as Surya Dev Kumar (25), son of Subhash Pehalwan of Banarpur village under Mufassil police station. He worked as a gym trainer in Patna and had returned to his village two days ago. Efforts are underway to identify the remaining two youths, believed to be from Kaimur district, police said.According to the police, the injured were identified as Ritesh Singh, son of Bansi Singh, and Rupesh Singh, son of Nandkishore, both residents of Banarpur village.

They were initially treated at Sadar hospital, Buxar, and later referred to Varanasi due to critical condition.Shambhu Bhagat, SHO of Mufassil police station, said both motorcycles were speeding when the incident took place. “Five youths were riding the two bikes and the accident impact was so severe that both motorcycles completely got damaged, and the riders were thrown several metres away. One youth died on the spot, while two others succumbed to their injuries while being taken to sadar hospital,” he said.
