On November 15, both of the actors gathered along with a large audience at Fairfax High School in Los Angeles as per Variety. During the event, the two played a game of basketball, which Sandler won, and even talked about their careers as well.Chalamet, recalling watching the fellow actor’s 2006 film ‘Punch-Drunk Love’, shared how amazing he thought Sandler was. He further added, “It is one of the most important performances.
It’s impactful, deeply moving. As a young actor, knowing you for your comedic work, seeing that thrown against the context of your other work, I’m like, ‘Wow, this is a fucking incredible actor. I hope I can give a performance like this.
'”He also shared how while he gets that awards are not the aim among other things, he believed that the actor should have had a ‘golden man’ awarded to him, and even calling Sandler “one of the best f****** actors of all time.”

Adam Sandler also praised Chalamet for his skills on the big screen and revealed that he cannot wait for the 29 year old’s future projects as well. “What you continue to do for cinema and for all of us is beyond it all. I just cannot wait to see what you bring in the future,” the ‘Blended’ actor added.
