Traffic diversion in Vellore due to bridge construction works

Traffic for heavy vehicles, including trucks and lorries, will not be allowed to use the Vaduganthangal - Seduvalai Main Road near Katpadi in Vellore from September 5 to October 10 due to bridge work. According to a press release, traffic diversion for heavy vehicles is aimed at facilitating the ongoing high-level bridge work, which is being done by State Highways, at Mudinampattu village that comes under Katpadi taluk across Palar River. As a result, heavy vehicles should use Kavasampattu Road through Pillanthipattu and Vazhaipannai village in K.V. Kuppam town to reach key areas such as Ambur, Arcot, Ranipet and Vellore towns for the said period, the release said.
