Brentford have reportedly agreed on an initial fee of £12.5 million for Kelleher, which could rise to £18 million if performance-related bonuses are met.
Kelleher, who has one year remaining on his Liverpool contract, also drew interest from Leeds, West Ham, and Bournemouth.
He was the hero of Liverpool’s 2022 League Cup final victory against Chelsea, making several fine saves and scoring a penalty in the 11-10 shoot-out win.
Kelleher also started in Liverpool’s 2024 League Cup final win against Chelsea. The 26-year-old will be replaced at Anfield by Valencia’s Giorgi Mamardashvili, who is set to join Arne Slot’s side next season after the Georgian agreed to his move to the Reds last year.
