Trump says US military will stay near Iran during ceasefire until a real agreement is fully implemented, warns of larger action if Iran violates nuclear and Hormuz terms

US President Donald Trump said American military assets will remain deployed in and around Iran until a “real agreement" is reached and fully implemented, even as a temporary ceasefire holds.

In a post, Trump said all US ships, aircraft and personnel, along with additional ammunition and weaponry, would stay in place to ensure compliance. He warned that if the agreement is not honoured, military action would resume at a larger scale.

Trump reiterated that the core terms include preventing Iran from developing nuclear weapons and ensuring that the Strait of Hormuz remains open and secure, while adding that US forces remain prepared for further action if required.
