Two killed in head-on collision of motorcycles near Ulundurpet

Two persons were killed and another injured in a head-on collision of two motorcycles at Kuchipalyaam near Ulundurpet on Tuesday (September 9, 2025) night.

The police identified the deceased as S. Govindan, 35, of Adhanur, and A. Subburayan, 32, of Poovanur. The police said Govindan was returning home on his motorcycle when Subburayan, who was riding in the opposite direction, collided with the bike. The duo, along with Selvaganapathy, who was riding pillion with Govindan, fell off their motorcycles and sustained grievous injuries.

Govindan and Subburayan died en route to the hospital, while Selvaganapathy was admitted to the Ulundurpet General Hospital. A case has been registered.
