TIRUPATI: Udayagiri TDP legislator Kakarla Suresh made a startling revelation that he will soon submit a report to Chief minister on attempts and conspiracies by a group of TDP and YSRCP leaders to honey trap him and portray him in a bad light.
Addressing a press conference on Sunday, Kakarla Suresh dismissed off accusations made against him by a woman Vengamamba and added that this woman tried to storm into a hotel in Vijayawada where he was staying in October last year and tried to take videos and portray him in a bad light. “But luckily my security officer and personal staff who were aware of the woman’s intentions, prevented her at the hotel lobby itself and thwarted her plans”, Kakarla Suresh clarified.Explaining in detail about how Vengamamba first approached him, the Udayagiri MLA recalled that she first approached him with a plea to work for him and that his office assigned her some Anganwadi related work for about three months between July-Sept last year. “This woman is married and she has a family which is settled in Karnataka. She occasionally used to come to Udayagiri and used to get in touch with my office for some work”, Kakarla Suresh explained.
Responding to the accusations made by Vengamamba that the Udayagiri MLA gave her various assignments for over an year and she didn’t get paid for any of her work and that the TDP legislator also promised her an MLA seat in the 2029 elections, Kakarla Suresh squarely dismissed of these accusations. “First of all this woman claims that I got her appointed as an Anganwadi coordinator which is not at all true because no such post actually exists.
Secondly, she never worked for us for a year and there was no contractual assignment as such. And most importantly, I’m just a first time legislator and it is absolutely baseless to state that I promised to get Vengamamba an MLA seat in the 2029 elections”, Kakarla Suresh clarified.
Expressing doubts that some TDP and YSRCP leaders had connived and were desperately trying to defame him by making Vengamamba issue baseless statements against him, the Udayagiri MLA stated that he would soon meet Chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and submit a detailed report on the entire conspiracy.
