Vajpayee will continue to inspire generations, says Venkaiah Naidu

Former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu on Friday (December 19, 2025) said that former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee would continue to inspire generations because of his work during his two tenures between 1996 and 2004. Along with BJP State president P.V.N. Madhav, Mr. Naidu attended the inauguration of Vajpayee statue as the chief guest and later addressed a public meeting in the Fort City.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that telecom sector, national highways, defence and other sectors witnessed rapid growth during the administration of Vajpayee, who was respected by everyone cutting across party lines. Minister for Health and Family Welfare Satya Kumar Yadav said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been developing the nation on the lines of Vajpayee’s administration.

Minister for MSME Kondapalli Srinivas, TDP MLA Aditi Vijaya Lakshmi Gajapathhi Raju, Etcherla BJP MLA N. Eswara Rao recalled the bond between TDP and BJP since Vajpayee regime. Earlier, BJP Vizianagaram district president Rajesh Varma, party general secretary Pativada Rajesh, BJP State executive committee member Kotagiri Narayana Rao, senior leaders Bobbili Srinu, Katta Babu and others organised a massive rally, highlighting the achievements of NDA governments both in Centre and State.
