Vice-President for Puttaparthi on Nov. 22 to take part in Sathya Sai Baba’s birth centenary

Vice-President C.P. Radhakrishnan will be visiting Puttaparthi in Sri Sathya Sai district on November 22 to participate in the birth centenary celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

Confirming the visit, Superintendent of Police S. Satish Kumar told the media in Puttaparthi on Wednesday that in view of the huge gathering of dignitaries from all over the world, tight security, with round-the-clock digital surveillance, was in place in the entire town and at vital junctions in the district.

“Today, we have thoroughly inspected the arrangements inside the ashram premises and the outer surroundings. A dynamic security action plan is being adopted in view of the expected arrival of the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister,” he said.
