In late 2022, Conine rejoined the Miami Marlins in the role of Special Assistant to the Chairman, a position that is located within the organization but not in the limelight.

His views are appreciated during discussions on team culture, team building, and player development.He also maintains contact with players throughout the Spring Training, and sometimes as a guest instructor. Those sessions will enable him to give him practical teachings regarding preparation, longevity, and management of the daily grind of a season in the Major League, particularly when young players get their bearings.

Outside baseball activities, Conine maintains his long-time philanthropic activities. His efforts at the Conine Clubhouse in Joe DiMaggio Children Hospital have continued to be the focus of his post-baseball life. The club-house accommodates the families of the children under treatment and helps them to feel better when they are in need of it as a way of giving back to the community, which is what Conine believes in.Another way Conine has been seen as an active person is as a public speaker where he speaks at corporate and community gatherings about leadership, resilience, and life after professional sports. His lasting impact was officially honored in 2025 when Jeff Conine was inducted into the first Marlins Hall of Fame, which once again shows that even after his playing career was over, Jeff Conine will continue to have a close relationship with the Marlins.
