Although the production house has unveiled a new poster hinting at the film's revival, they have yet to confirm and announce an official restart date. Industry sources indicate that Pawan is expected to join the crew on 12 June. The movie reunites the successful duo of Pawan Kalyan and Harish Shankar, who previously delivered a box office hit with Gabbar Singh.

Sreeleela's role Earlier reports suggested that actress Sreeleela would be starring opposite Pawan Kalyan as the female lead, and she is set to begin shooting for the movie on 10 June. The music is being composed by national award-winning music director Devi Sri Prasad.The film's progress has been slow, largely due to Pawan Kalyan’s political responsibilities, including his role as Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. While there was widespread speculation that Ustaad Bhagat Singh would be a remake of Thalapathy Vijay’s Theri, fresh reports have now clarified that it will be an original story.
