Nissan confirms Victor Martins as second rookie for Madrid Rookie Test

Joining her in the Nissan garage for the upcoming test will be Williams F1 Team test and development driver Victor Martins. Martins is a Formula Renault Eurocup title winner and F3 2022 championship winner. He will be taking part in the FIA World Endurance Championship with Alpine this year.
Speaking ahead of the test, Pulling said in a statement, “I’m pleased to be teaming up with Nissan Formula E Team again in Jarama.
I’m feeling comfortable in the car following my recent outings and the simulator work, so my target is to keep improving. I was able to get up to speed quickly in Miami and Jarama is a track I’ve visited before with Nissan Formula E Team, so it will be interesting to compare myself to the benchmark set there last time.
I can’t wait to be back on track with the squad.” Victor Martins also added, “I’m really excited to be back with Nissan Formula E Team.
I know a lot of the crew, so it will be great to return to familiar surroundings for a productive day of testing. I haven’t driven the GEN3 Evo car before so I’m looking forward to experiencing the all-wheel drive and learning as much as I can.”"It’s been a while since I drove a Formula E car, but I’ll still look to build on my previous time with the team in Berlin. We’ve been preparing well for the test and I’m sure that we will complete our program together on the day.
I’m very grateful for this opportunity and a big thank you to Nissan Formula E Team for believing in me,” he added.
