Daultabad police have registered an offence under the sections 406 (criminal breach of trust) and 420 (cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property), among other charges.
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The Daulatabad police have registered an offence against two men for selling a plot despite outstanding bank loan against it.One 64-year-old resident of the Satara area in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar had purchased the plot located in the Sharanapur area.“The two men sold the plot to the complainant for Rs 14 lakh. They told him that the property has a clear title with no outstanding loan against it. However, after the purchase of the plot, the victim came to know that a bank loan worth Rs 75 lakh was outstanding against the plot,” Daultabad police said.While the main accused in the case hails from Ambad taluka of Jalna district, his accomplice is a resident of Devanagari area of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.Daultabad police have registered an offence under the sections 406 (criminal breach of trust) and 420 (cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property) among other charges.
