'Aadu 3' poster confirms March release: Jayasurya film locks horns with Yash's 'Toxic'

The makers of 'Aadu 3', starring Jayasurya, have officially reiterated its release date. A new poster dropped on February 20 confirmed that the film will hit theatres on March 19, 2026.

It will release alongside Toxic, directed by Geetu Mohandas. The poster also established that this is the final instalment of the popular comedy franchise helmed by Midhun Manuel Thomas.

Actor-producer Vijay Babu unveiled the poster with the caption, “The idiots are coming; One last ride ….. Aadu -3 , In Theatres Worldwide from 19th March 2026!” The post quickly flooded with comments from eager fans. One wrote, “Katta waiting undeee.”

Another commented, “waiting.” There were many requests for a glimpse of the film. “Please release the teaser already,” one user wrote. Another commented, “This is going to be epic.

” One fan declared, “Unveil the trailer guys. let it be fire.” Another prediction also stood out: “Jayasurya's first 100 crore grosser coming.”

Franchise continues same storyline

'Aadu 3' will follow the misadventures of Shaji Pappan and his notorious group of friends.

The earliest posters had sparked debate about whether the film would shift to a new storyline. However, Vijay Babu cleared the confusion . He stated in a recent interview that the third film continues from where the second ended, while also featuring other timelines.

Jayasurya, Vinayakan and fan-favourite characters return

Jayasurya returns as Shaji Pappan and Vinayakan also reprises his eccentric gangster character Dude. A new character poster featuring Sunny Wayne as Saathaan Xavier was released recently. It instantly went viral. The poster shows him sitting with a cigarette in hand, flames rising behind him. His sly expression hints that the beloved troublemaker is about to stir chaos again. The makers shared it with the caption: “ഹൈ റേഞ്ചിൻ ഹൈലി ഡെയ്ഞ്ചർ (High range highly danger).
