Nisarga Adhikary, a 19-year-old hacker who claimed to have found critical vulnerabilities and data security lapses in Central Board of Secondary Education’s (CBSE) On-Screen Marking (OSM) process to evaluate Class 12 results, has responded to the board’s latest clarification with a popular song by Punjabi rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh.

His response came after the CBSE said vulnerabilities identified in the OnMark portal operated by its service provider have been contained, following concerns raised publicly about potential security weaknesses in the system.

Adhikary posted a clip from Honey Singh’s song ‘Dope Shope’, saying the government had “admitted" a security breach. “How me and the boys be moving after cbse admitted that there indeed was a security breach," he captioned the 16-second video.

The board said specialists from various government agencies and the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) have been working to strengthen the platform’s security architecture and move it to a more secure setup.

“The identified vulnerabilities have been contained, and other exploitable weaknesses are being ruled out," CBSE said in its post, adding that it was grateful to alert citizens and ethical hackers who highlighted the issues, without mentioning Adhikary.

OSM Security Flaws

Adhikary said there were multiple security flaws in the system, about which he had notified authorities three months ago. However, only partial fixes were implemented. The teenage hacker said he found a hardcoded “master password" in a publicly accessible JavaScript bundle that anyone could download.

In his latest post, Adhikary said CBSE allegedly left their massive cloud storage database entirely unprotected, allowing absolutely anyone on the internet to view, list, and download the 2026 board exam answer she
