Air India To Send 'Defected' Fuel Switch Of Its Plane To Boeing For Inspection

Air India will send the defected fuel switch from its London to Bengaluru flight to Boeing for inspection and replace it before returning the aircraft to service.

Amid the probe over a switch malfunction in an aircraft that operated a flight from London Heathrow to Bengaluru on Sunday, Air India on Tuesday said it will send the “defected" fuel switch to Boeing for inspection. The existing fuel switch will be replaced with a fresh one and the aircraft will be brought back in service, they said.
