Trump warned that “a whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again” if the country fails to comply with his demand for a deal.

Iranian embassies across the world issued sharp and coordinated responses on Tuesday after US President Donald Trump warned that “a whole civilisation will die tonight."
The remarks, posted on his Truth Social platform, came as Trump escalated his ultimatum to Iran, warning that “a whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again" if the country fails to comply with his demand for a deal.
The strongest response came from the Iranian Embassy in Turkey, which invoked history in a pointed message: “The Mongols ravaged it. History tested it. Iran is still here. A psychopath’s threats won’t end what time couldn’t."

Iran’s embassy in South Africa called the country as a civilisation that “is not a mere incident in history, but history itself," adding that it would not be shaken by what it called Trump’s “Stone Age" rhetoric.
“Our response to the enemy’s savagery is to stand firm on national interests and rely on the strength of the great Iranian nation," it added.
In Thailand, the embassy struck a similarly defiant tone, saying, “Civilizations don’t die by bombing, Keyboard President. Iran is the constant in this changing world and will emerge stronger."
Meanwhile, the embassy in Bulgaria noted that Iran’s enemies “have been waiting for 2,500 years, and they have never succeeded."
Trump’s latest remarks came as reports emerged of fresh strikes on Iranian infrastructure. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed attacks on railways and bridges, saying they were used by the Revolutionary Guards.
Iranian authorities reported strikes on a bridge near Qom, railway tracks near Karaj, and a key highway linking Tabriz and Tehran, with at least two people killed.
The Israeli military said it had carried out a broad wave of strikes targeting infrastructure sites, even as Trump’s deadline for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz approached. It remained unclear how the US president intended to carry out his threat.
