Alia Bhatt hints she follows ancient parenting tips for Raha, despite being a modern parent

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor became parents to a baby girl in November 2022. Since then, they've been doting parents to their daughter Raha Kapoor. Alia has often spoken about how they make sure that atleast one of them is with Raha at all times and they manage their shooting schedules accordingly.

While the 'Highway' actress is clearly enjoying motherhood, she's also making sure to balance it beautifully with her career. In her recent Instagram update, Alia has hinted about the parenting style she follows for her daughter. She shared a picture of the book, 'The Parent’s Tao Te Ching: Ancient Advice for Modern Parents by William Martin' and wrote, 'obsessed'. The book focuses on guiding parents toward building deeper, more meaningful connections with their children through thoughtful communication and timeless wisdom adapted for modern parenting.

The title itself says that this book has ancient advice for modern parents and that clearly seems like the approach Alia has.

Recently, Ranbir Kapoor also spoke about spending time with Raha as he was asked about his morning routine, which involves Alia first. Ranbir shared the first five things he does every morning. During a chat with Vogue India, he revealed, “I kiss my wife. I rush down to my daughter Raha's room. I try and steal some cuddles but she is usually very restless in the morning. I have black coffee, plan my day and eat my breakfast." On work front, Alia is gearing up for her upcoming spy thriller 'Alpha'. The film also features Sharvari, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles and is slated to hit theatres on April 17, 2026.
