Actress Lara Dutta marked 15 years of togetherness with former tennis star Mahesh Bhupathi on Sunday with a touching social media post. The couple, who married in 2011 and have a daugher. Lara shared intimate moments from their journey and expressed gratitude for their bond in her anniversary post.

Lara chose a playful yet emotional tone to describe their relationship. She compared their personalities to fire and air, hinting at how their contrasting natures somehow complement each other. Alongside affectionate photos, she wrote, “15 years of Fire ( ME) + Air ( HIM) = me starting the flames, him fanning them ferociously … and somehow we haven’t burned the house down…….. yet!!!”She also opened up about the everyday realities of marriage, highlighting the fun hidden within disagreements and competition. Her words captured the comfort that comes from long companionship. About their marriage
Lara and Mahesh’s journey to marriage unfolded gradually. After dating for a period, they tied the knot in Mumbai in February 2011, followed by a church ceremony days later. Their relationship grew stronger with time. In 2012, they welcomed their daughter Saira, stepping into parenthood together. Since then, the couple has balanced family life with careers in entertainment and sports.
Mahesh Bhupathi was previously married to model Shvetha Jaishankar, and parted in 2009.
