Namo Bharat train links Delhi and Meerut via RRTS, offering high-speed, air-conditioned travel, CCTV, and single ticket access to Meerut Metro.

The Namo Bharat train is part of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS)

It aimed at offering high-speed, frequent connectivity between Delhi and Meerut. Each train can carry over 700 people, with seating for 173.

The coaches are air-conditioned and equipped with CCTV, USB charging points and safety systems.

Passengers can travel on both Namo Bharat and the Meerut Metro with a single ticket.

The final operational sections include a 5-km stretch between Sarai Kale Khan and New Ashok Nagar in Delhi.

They also include a 21-km stretch between Meerut South and Modipuram in Uttar Pradesh.

The corridor has a design speed of 135 kmph and a maximum operational speed of 120 kmph.

The 21-km stretch will be covered in about 30 minutes. The total 23-km corridor includes 16 km of elevated track and 7 km underground.
