Plot of ‘Anaganaga Oka Raju’

The film features Naveen Polishetty as Raju, who hails from a village and wants to live a luxurious life. He then plans to make Meenakshi Chaudhary’s character, Charulatha, who is the daughter of wealthy landlord Bhupathi Raju to fall in love with him.

He launches "Operation Charulatha" with friends, using tricks to win her affection and her father's approval, leading to marriage. After their marriage, Raju gets to know that Bhupathi Raju has left him not with riches but with a massive debt, revealing he was cleverly duped.

‘Anaganaga Oka Raju’ box office performance

Speaking of the film’s box office performance, as per Sacnilk, in 22 days, the movie has made over Rs 82.65 crore worldwide. On the other hand, makers on their social media handle have decalred that the film has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark.

The movie also had an impactful run in the USA markets as well, grossing over USD 1.6 million. The film was released during big films including Chiranjeevi’s ‘Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu’, Prabhas’ ‘The Raja Saab’ and others.
