In a dramatic turn of events that mirrors scenes from a Bollywood thriller, a bizarre tale of snake revenge has emerged from Alinagar Kenjra village in Uttar Pradesh’s Firozabad district.
On Sunday, Shivam Nishad, son of Mahesh Nishad, accidentally stepped on a snake while working in the fields. Terrified, he rushed home. Villagers claim the snake followed him, entered his house, climbed onto his bed, and bit him thrice on his hand and leg. His wife, Gudiya killed the snake and rushed him to the nearest hospital as his condition quickly worsened.
Hours later, when the family returned home, they were stunned to find a second snake—believed to be a female—curled up beside the dead one. Acting swiftly, Gudiya killed it, fearing another attack. She later said she wanted to ensure her husband’s safety.
However, Nishad’s condition deteriorated again, and he was transferred to SN Medical College in Agra. The family even brought a photo of the snake to assist the doctors in providing accurate treatment.
The sighting of the second snake has fueled speculation among locals, many of whom believe it was a case of revenge—echoing the mythical ‘Naag-Nagin‘ folklore often depicted in Indian films. The unusual sequence of events has left the village gripped with fear and fascination.
