Bengaluru: South Division gets new DCP

The Karnataka government on Friday (April 24) issued an order naming Kona Vamsi Krishna as the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) for South Division, Bengaluru. Lokesh Bharamappa Jagalasar, who was holding the post, has been transferred.

Mr. Krishna is a 2014 batch IPS officer and was serving as the Superintendent of Police at Lokayukta. The government is yet to assign a post for Mr. Jagalasar.
