Bigg Boss Telugu 9: Sanjana Galrani becomes the first captain of the season

The latest episode of Bigg Boss Telugu 9 featured an intense competition for the house captaincy. Bigg Boss asked Sanjana to select any five contestants for the captaincy race - two owners and three tenants.Sanjana, Emmanuel, Shrasti, Harish, and Demon Pavan competed with the support of Dammu Sreeja, Bharani, Ramu Rathod, Kalyan, and Priya, respectively. In the task, the supporters for each contender have to hold themselves onto a wall with the help of a few poles. There was a traffic signal; when turned red, the sanchalak should call a contender, and when turned green, the contender should pull off a pole that other contenders' supporters are holding onto.With Maryada Manish as sanchalak, arguments rose when Emmanuel was eliminated from the race for pulling out the pole before the signal turned green. Emmanuel questioned Manish as to why he hadn't warned him about the signal, just as he had warned the previous contenders.The game continued with Sreeja, Ramu, Kalyan, and Priya competing for the captaincy of Sanjana, Shrasti, Harish, and Pavan, respectively. In an intense moment, Harish was eliminated when Kalyan took the support of the top of the wall.

Moving forward, the game intensified when Bigg Boss announced to the contenders to pull two poles. When Shrasti pulled out Priya’s supporting poles, Priya turned herself to the side, which the house and sanchalak disapproved of because of not facing the garden. As a result, Pavan was out of the race.With Sreeja and Ramu holding onto the wall, contenders pulled out Ramu’s support poles. Eventually, he jumped onto the ground, leading to the elimination of Shrasti.

With Sreeja holding onto the wall till the end, Sanjana won the captaincy race.Sanajana’s captaincy came with several benefits, including being an owner for a week and controlling the whole house. She was given a gift hamper filled with snacks. While the housemates were neutral about her being the captain, Manish expressed his dissatisfaction because of the issues she had caused earlier.
