Bharatiya Yuva Shakti Trust (BYST) Founding and Managing Trustee Lakshmi V. Venkatesan has said that the Trust aims to support nearly 10,000 nano and micro entrepreneurs while building a network of around 4,000 trained mentors to provide long-term business guidance across Andhra Pradesh.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Ms. Lakshmi V. Venkatesan said the Trust had entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Andhra Pradesh MSME Development Corporation (APMSMEDC) to launch an Entrepreneurship Training and Mentoring Programme in the State. The initiative was announced during the ‘One Family-One Entrepreneur MSME Growth Summit 2026’ held here recently.

Under the collaboration, BYST will provide structured entrepreneurship training, mentoring support and enterprise handholding for emerging businesses. The programme will also conduct entrepreneurship orientation sessions, digital learning initiatives and grassroots outreach activities across districts and industrial clusters.

The collaboration will further focus on strengthening market linkages, improving financial literacy, promoting digital enablement and building institutional partnerships for MSMEs under the State government’s ‘One Family-One Entrepreneur’ vision.

Trust Strategic Committee chairman D. Ramakrishna also spoke.
