Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu highlighted the NDA government's commitment to Andhra Pradesh

TIRUPATI: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday reaffirmed the NDA coalition government's unwavering commitment to reviving Andhra Pradesh through robust welfare initiatives, industrial growth, and strategic infrastructure projects.Speaking at the public meeting held after Naidu disbursed NTR Bharosa social security pensions at Punnapuvaripalem village in Gudur constituency, the Chief Minister detailed the administration's active progress over the last two years and heavily criticized the previous regime for leaving the state in a shambles.Addressing a large gathering, Naidu highlighted his government's administrative correction in reversing the unscientific district borders drawn by the previous rulers.Honoring public sentiment, the administration successfully reunited Gudur, Saidapuram, and Kaluvayapuram mandals with Nellore district. He emphasized that governance must reflect the true will of the people, leaving no room for authoritarian tendencies.Focusing heavily on welfare, the Chief Minister stated that the state has distributed ₹68,598 crore in pensions so far under the current dispensation. The government disperses ₹2,712 crore on the first of every month to support 62.20 lakh beneficiaries across 28 categories, including the elderly, widows, and disabled individuals.

Furthermore, the newly launched P4 initiative (People-Public-Private Partnership) aims to eliminate economic disparities by engaging the top 10% wealthy segment to uplift the bottom 20% impoverished population.Welfare schemes like Thalli ki Vandanam, Stree Shakti, and One Family One Entrepreneur are actively turning women into self-reliant business owners, with Dwacra groups leading the country in financial discipline. On the industrial front, the Chief Minister announced key strategies to establish Andhra Pradesh as an investment hub through three primary regional centers centered around Visakhapatnam, Amaravati, and Tirupati. He predicted that Nellore district would become a national leader in wealth creation, propelled by mega projects like the Ramayapatnam and Krishnapatnam ports, and a shipbuilding center at Dugarajapatnam.Notably, BPCL is setting up a massive ₹1 lakh crore refinery near Ramayapatnam, while 27 mega industries and a specialized furniture park are already making progress in the Gudur region.aidu also shared that investors have regained trust in the state, noting that the Hero Motocorp plant was brought back to AP, and the foundation stone for the Kadapa Rayalaseema Steel Plant will be laid shortly with an aim to begin production by 2028.Discussing water security, Naidu stated that ₹24,000 crore has been spent on irrigation, and a dedicated calendar has been released to complete 36 priority projects. He promised to finish the crucial Veligonda project to provide water to Prakasam, Nellore, and Kadapa districts, accusing the previous leader of staging a premature inauguration before ₹4,000 crore worth of work was completed. The government has already released ₹300 crore out of a total ₹900 crore rehabilitation fund to expedite the process.Despite reduced rainfall due to El Niño, reservoirs retain 65% capacity, and the state is introducing the Jaladhara initiative alongside checking the feasibility of a Godavari-Kaveri river-linking project. To mitigate global fuel price hikes, Naidu also urged farmers to cultivate alternative crops like maize to support ethanol production. The Chief Minister didn't hold back in his political critique, targeting the YSRCP, which he labeled the "axe party" (goddali party), accusing them of creating communal, regional, and caste rifts. He condemned their continuous conspiracies against developing Amaravati as the state capital and their past attempt to confuse the public with the "three capitals" rhetoric, which made the state a subject of mockery nationwide.Expressing deep concern over deteriorating political discourse, Naidu slammed opposition leaders for allegedly running vulgar social media campaigns against Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan’s family and making highly derogatory remarks about Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha. He emphasized that under his leadership, the state has clamped down on a rampant marijuana and criminal culture using the specialized Eagle Task Force.Calling on the citizens to stay alert against criminal politics, Naidu concluded his address with a strong political pitch, urging the public to embrace the slogan "Goddali Party Never Again" and "NDA Again and Again" to ensure uninterrupted growth and stability for the Telugu people.
