In a significant step towards enhancing local governance, Bihar's Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will inaugurate 'Manthan-2025' in Gaya. This two-day workshop brings together leading officials and subject matter experts to explore innovative strategies in responsive governance, urban initiatives, and collaborative ventures between public and private sectors.
Gaya: CM Nitish Kumar will inaugurate the two-day high-level workshop ‘Manthan-2025’ in Gaya on Wednesday. The workshop, being organised at the Bihar Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (BIPARD), Gaya campus, on Wednesday and Thursday, aims to strengthen the district-centric governance framework, enhance coordination between policy formulation and field-level implementation, and promote administrative efficiency through structured experience-sharing and collective deliberations.Chief secretary Pratyaya Amrit, additional chief secretary B Rajender and other senior bureaucrats will address senior officers of the state and provide guidance on legal aspects relevant to effective governance.District public relations officer Deepak Kumar Dev said in a press release issued on Tuesday, “Detailed discussions will be held on key thematic areas, including responsive governance, ease of doing business, challenges and the way forward for urban development, legal and institutional framework for effective administration, public–private partnership and infrastructure development.”
“Eminent subject experts, senior policymakers and experienced administrators will share insights and best practices during the sessions of the workshop. Innovative initiatives presented by districts will also highlight successful governance practices at the grassroots level,” he said.Dev further said, “According to the traffic plan effective from 10 am to 3 pm for the chief minister’s visit to Gaya on Wednesday, vehicular traffic from Ghughritand bypass via gate number five of the officers’ training academy up to Bodh Gaya Domuhan will be restricted. Vehicles heading towards Domuhan will ply on the riverside road up to Bodh Gaya from Ghughritand bypass, while vehicles going towards Domuhan from Sikaria Mor will be diverted via Magadh Medical and Cherki road.
