Human-wildlife conflict continues to plague Kodagu district, with a coffee planter killed in a wild elephant attack in the early hours of Wednesday at Srimangala hobli in Ponnampet taluk.

The deceased has been identified as Mokalamada Rathu, 56, a resident of Kaiemani.
