Demi Lovato has announced her plan to postpone the start of her “It’s Not That Deep” tour. In a post on her social media handle, the singer also announced that she has cancelled five scheduled dates, telling fans the decision was made to prioritise her health.In a detailed statement shared via her Instagram Stories, the singer announced that the tour’s opening night will now take place on April 13 in Orlando, Florida, instead of April 8 in Charlotte, North Carolina. She also confirmed that shows in Charlotte, Nashville, Atlanta, Las Vegas and Denver stand cancelled and that fans will get a refund for their tickets.
Demi Lovato postpones tour for health reasons
In her note, the singer explained that as rehearsals began, she realised she had taken on more dates around the country than she initially thought was possible.
She also shared her need for adiquate time to rest as she embarked on the tour.

Her statement read, “My Lovatics - I am so excited to get back on stage this year and visit you in as many cities as I can. While starting to prepare for the tour, I realized that I have overextended what may be possible. To Protect my health, and ensure I can give you my all at each show, I need to build in more time to rest and rehearse and ultimately adjust in to a scheduule with some more time off that will allow me to handle the entire run of the tour.
Charlotte, Nashville, Atlanta, Las Vegas and Denver - I Am so sad to say that I will no longer be able to see you on this tour and I am so sorry to those who planned to be there.Orlando - We are moving your show to April 13h and will kick off there.If you purchased your tickets for one of these shows through Ticketmaster or AXS, refunds will be issued automatically. If you purchased from a third-party reseller (StubHub, SeatGeek, VividSeats) etc, please reach out to your point of purchase.
In Orlando, all previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date. Additional tickets are available on demilovato.com. I am so excited for this tour and am looking forward to seeing so many of your faces singing with me! Thank you for your support always.

Demi Lovato to return to stage after three years
Lovato last toured in 2022. The upcoming run was set to follow the release of her ninth studio album, which arrived in October last year.On the work front, the singer has also turned producer for 'Camp Rock 3'.
