Iran issued a cautionary message to Pakistan without naming the country directly amid its ongoing conflict with Israel.

Deputy Chief of Mission at Iran’s embassy in New Delhi, Javed Hosseini, said Friday that Iran warned of serious repercussions should any third party enter the Israel‑Iran conflict when asked about Asim Munir’s visit to White House.

“We warn of dire consequences if any third party enters the war," Hosseini said.

It appears that Iranian officials have taken note that Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir recently met US President Donald Trump.

While dismissing any disappointment with India, Hosseini stressed that Tehran expects greater understanding and cooperation moving forward.

Hossein also accused certain Western entities of bias. He stated that the UN nuclear watchdog International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) operates at Israel’s behest, contended that the G7 continues to support Israel and emphasized that Iran, “a signatory to the NPT", “will not surrender unconditionally".

“We are signatories of the non-proliferation treaty (NPT) but the IAEA is working on Israel’s behest. The G7 always backs Israel," he said.

“No unconditional surrender, that is for sure," he added. Trump on social media had posted “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER" when the conflict broke out earlier last week.

Netizens on social media were left unimpressed when posts highlighting that Asim Munir met rival leaders in a space a month and questioned if Pakistan, Iran’s neighbour, is on Tehran’s side or Washington’s.

General Munir’s in May held a meeting with Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei in Tehran. The visit focused on regional security, border cooperation, and shared concerns combating unrest along their shared frontier.

Barely a month later, Munir met Donald Trump and discussed the tensions between US and Iran.

Supporting Operation Sindhu

Iran’s embassy also reiterated its ongoing logistical support for Operation Sindhu, India’s evacuation of students caught in the Israel‑Iran crisis.

Hosseini confirmed that three Iranian-chartered Mahaan Air flights will soon carry students from Mashhad to Delhi in organised batches.

He added that around 1,000 of the estimated 10,000 Indians in Iran have already been safely relocated, with additional flights expected as part of continued efforts under Operation Sindhu.
