The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday (June 23, 2026) launched simultaneous searches at four locations linked to K. Mallareddy, District Prohibition and Excise Officer and Superintendent in Nizamabad, in connection with a Disproportionate Assets (DA) case registered against him.

According to officials, four ACB teams conducted raids at properties associated with the excise officer, including his residence at Macha Bolarum as well as the houses of his family members and close associates.

The searches were initiated following allegations that the official possessed assets disproportionate to his known sources of income. ACB officials are currently examining documents, financial records and other material recovered during the searches to ascertain the extent of the alleged irregularities. The raids were continuing at the time of publication, and further details are awaited from the investigating agency.
