Dreame Technology is known for introducing some really efficient and aesthetic cleaning devices and the latest Dreame D20 Ultra is no different. Dreame Technology recently expanded its robotic vacuum lineup with the launch of the Dreame D20 Ultra robotic vacuum cleaner in India.

Positioned as a premium offering in Dreame’s lineup, it combines powerful suction, advanced mopping systems, and intelligent navigation with a multifunctional docking station that takes care of most maintenance tasks automatically. We used the Dreame D20 Ultra for sometime and here’s our complete review of the same.

Design

Dreame D20 Ultra will impress you with its modern and sleek design. The robotic vacuum cleaner from Dreame is designed keeping in mind the contemporary homes.

The vacuum cleaner has a sleek, circular body which comes with a clean matte finish offering a premium look to it. The smooth matte finish of Dreame D20 Ultra also keeps fingerprints and smudges at bay. The design of the robotic vacuum cleaner is not only modern but is also highly functional.

The LiDAR Pathfinder turret sits on the top and makes sure of precise mapping and navigation. The LiDAR sensor also makes sure that the vacuum cleaner can intelligently plan routes and avoid obstacles.

Underneath the Dreame D20 Ultra comes an integrated DuoScrub rotary mopping system, which uses the dual high-speed pads to scrub the floor with downward pressure and deliver a deep clean as compared to the traditional drag-mop design. Features and performance

Complementing the high suction power is the DuoScrub mopping system which uses dual high-speed rotary mops with downward pressure to scrub away stains and spills, leaving floors gleaming.Another interesting feature of Dreame D20 Ultra is the ultrasonic carpet detection which makes the robotic vacuum cleaner to intelligently sense when it’s on a carpet.

It can also automatically boost the suction for deep cleaning and lifts its mops to up to 10.5mm to prevent carpets from getting wet. The RoboSwing feature of the device improves its performance by reaching into corners and areas which are difficult to clean.

Once connected with the app, the Dreame D20 Ultra creates a detailed map of your home with the help of the LiDAR system. Along with this, the app also enables you to customize the map by renaming the rooms, merging or dividing spaces, and setting up virtual boundaries.

Apart from mapping, the companion app also offers granular control over cleaning preferences. Users can also adjust the suction power levels, mop water flow, and even select cleaning modes ranging from quiet operation to turbo suction for deep cleaning sessions using the app. The app also supports multi-floor mapping, making it ideal for larger homes. We also really liked the way in which the vacuum cleaner managed to clean the difficult to reach areas with ease. Navigation is smooth and intelligent thanks to Pathfinder smart mapping and 3DAdapt obstacle avoidance. It slows down near furniture and obstacles, avoiding collisions and protecting delicate items. The dock automatically empties dust, washes and dries mop pads, and refills water tanks, ensuring the robot is always ready for the next session.

This integration allows the D20 Ultra to maintain consistent performance over time without requiring frequent user intervention.The Dreame D20 Ultra is backed by a 5,200mAh battery which promises to deliver extended cleaning sessions. In standard mode, the vacuum can run for up to 250–260 minutes, making it capable of covering large homes or multiple floors in a single charge. When the battery runs low, the robot automatically returns to its dock and resumes cleaning from where it left off once recharged.
