Meanwhile, according to a WSJ report, the United Arab Emirates is preparing to assist the United States and its allies in forcibly reopening the Strait of Hormuz. The move could make the UAE the first Gulf nation to directly enter the conflict as a combatant, following recent Iranian attacks on its territory.

Meanwhile, authorities in Dubai said on Tuesday that they “contained” a Kuwaiti oil tanker after it came under attack from Iran. Officials said there was “no oil leakage and no injuries reported”.
