ECI released final electoral rolls for Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh, showing significant increases in voter numbers after the Special Intensive Revision.

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has released the final electoral rolls for the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise.
In the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, the final electorate as on February 21, 2026 stands at 2,58,040 voters, including 1,30,415 men, 1,27,622 women and 3 third-gender voters. The draft roll published on December 23, 2025 had recorded 2,46,390 voters. During the revision, 16,919 Form 6/6A applications were admitted, 18 voters were added after shifting from outside the UT, and 5,269 deletions were approved.
Kerala’s final electorate as on January 21, 2026 stands at 2,69,53,644 voters, comprising 1,31,26,048 men, 1,38,27,319 women and 227 third-gender voters. The draft publication had recorded 2,54,42,352 voters.
During the revision process, 13,51,151 Form 6 applications, 1,59,111 Form 6-A applications and 3,93,333 Form 8 applications were admitted.
In Madhya Pradesh, the final electoral roll records 5,39,81,065 voters compared to 5,31,39,983 in the draft roll, reflecting a net increase of 8,49,082 voters or 1.60 per cent.
The revision process saw 10,85,413 additions and 2,36,331 deletions across the state.
