Flag marches held in poll-bound Gram Panchayats in Karimnagar rural mandal

Ahead of the first phase of Gram Panchayat elections, scheduled to be held on December 11, the Karimnagar rural police on Sunday conducted flag marches in poll-bound villages in the rural mandal.

The flag marches were held in Maqdumpur, Cherlabuthkur, Chamanpalli and Nagunur villages, as part of measures to instil confidence among voters for ensuring a free and fair election, police said.

A strong posse of police personnel led by Karimnagar rural ACP Vijay Kumar participated in the flag marches.
