Former Infy CEO Sikka’s AI startup Hang Ten raises $32 million

Bengaluru: Former Infosys CEO Vishal Sikka’s enterprise AI startup, Hang Ten Systems, has raised $32 million in seed funding. Mayfield led the round, with a strategic investment from Aramco Ventures and participation from a group of angel investors.

The fresh capital will be deployed to expand the company’s team and deepen its engagement with global enterprises.Hang Ten focuses on helping large organisations deploy AI at scale and translate the technology into measurable business outcomes. The startup is betting that generative AI will fundamentally reshape enterprise software. According to the company, AI-generated code is disrupting the traditional model of adapting commercial off-the-shelf software (COTS) to enterprise requirements through configuration, customisation, integration and testing.Hang Ten said its model can build, modify and run software at a fraction of the cost and time of conventional approaches. The company specialises in enterprise transformations, finance, HR and new product development, supported by an expert FDE bench, a reusable skills library and agentic code generation capabilities.Taking to X, Sikka said, “Hang Ten is already helping some of the world’s biggest and most important enterprises — like Fresenius, Siemens Energy and others — hang ten on the biggest wave of our lifetimes. Our dream is to help enterprises not just transform with AI, but use it as a force to do what no one could do before.”
