With Islamic holy month of Ramzan just around the corner, the signs about the popular delicacy haleem are already popping up in Hyderabad. Several outlets across the city have started serving the seasonal delicacy, drawing early crowds eager to savour the slow-cooked dish that has become synonymous with the holy month.
Against this backdrop of rising demand, Paradise Food Court Private Limited expects robust sales this year. “Each Paradise outlet sells between 1000 and 1200 units of haleem per day on Ramzan weekends, and the company now expects to match or exceed those volumes this season, banking on strong early demand and a projected 35% growth in sales,” said Robinder Singh of the company.
“During Ramzan weekends, each outlet sells approximately 1000 to 1200 units of haleem per day across dine-in, takeaway and delivery channels. This year, the company aims to sell on par with or more than those volumes,” he added.
The price of the single serve mutton haleem remains unchanged from last year at ₹299, while the chicken haleem is priced at ₹235 for a single serve pack. Family pack variants are also available.
