Hyderabad police launches ‘She Netra’ teams to crackdown on hidden cameras; provides detection kits

In a bid to improve women’s safety and privacy, the Hyderabad police on Friday (April 10, 2026) launched specialised ‘She Netra’ teams to detect and prevent the use of hidden cameras in public and private spaces across the city.

The initiative was formally rolled out by Hyderabad Police Commissioner V. C. Sajjanar at the Old Commissionerate Office in Basheerbagh, where advanced camera detector kits were distributed to the newly-formed teams.
