The deceased, identified as Boda Sravanthi, had migrated to Hyderabad with her husband Praveen in search of a livelihood. The incident occurred in Kukatpally, where she is suspected to have killed her children before taking her own life.
Following the deaths, relatives alleged that Sravanthi was driven to the extreme step due to harassment by her husband. Enraged family members later attacked the husband’s house in their native village, setting fire to furniture and triggering tension in the area.
The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the deaths and the subsequent unrest. Authorities are working to restore peace in the area after the violent reaction from family members.
