India on Sunday (June 28, 2026) rejected Pakistan’s allegations, linking it to an attack on a military base in Karachi, in which at least left four paramilitary personnel died.

“We have seen Pakistani reports making baseless allegations against India regarding the recent incident in Karachi. We categorically reject them,” Randhir Jaiswal, spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), said in a post on X.

“Instead of pointing fingers at others, Pakistan would do better to look inwards, take credible action against the terror infrastructure on its territory and rid itself of its proclivity to rely on terrorism as an instrument of state policy,” Mr. Jaiswal added.

At least three terrorists and three paramilitary soldiers were killed after banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) militants attacked a compound belonging to the Sindh Rangers in Karachi, the army said on Sunday (June 28, 2026). During a visit to Karachi on Saturday (June 27, 2026), Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif accused India of using “proxies” in an attempt to undermine peace and stability in Pakistan.
