Israeli army confirmed that air raid sirens had been triggered in several parts of the country following the missile launches

Iran on Friday launched a fresh wave of missiles at Israel, marking the eighth day of ongoing conflict between the two long-standing rivals. A news presenter on the Iranian channel described “images in the sky over the occupied territories (Israel) of Iranian missiles arriving," while the broadcast played military music alongside the footage.

Around the same time, the Israeli army confirmed that air raid sirens had been triggered in several parts of the country following the missile launches.

“A short while ago, sirens sounded in several areas across Israel following the identification of missiles launched from Iran toward the State of Israel," the army said in a statement.

This latest missile attack comes amid heightened tensions and ongoing exchanges between the two countries. Further details on the strike are awaited.
