Iran mocked Donald Trump’s claim of saving eight women from execution, calling it false and sharing AI images, while the US stood by his statement amid rising tensions.

Iran Takes Dig At US President Over Execution Claim: ‘Hurray, Trump Saved 8 AI-Generated People’
Iran has hit back at claims made by United States President Donald Trump about saving the lives of women protesters. The response came after Trump said that Iran had agreed not to carry out executions.
Iranian officials reportedly denied this and said no such plan ever existed. They also took a sharp tone while reacting to the claim, calling it false and misleading.
Iran Mocks Trump’s Claim With AI Post
The Iranian Embassy in Saudi Arabia shared a post taking a dig at Trump’s statement. It read, “Hurray, Trump saved 8 AI-generated people."
The post also added, “Eight other Iranian girls are going to be executed in Iran tomorrow. Ask Trump to help. Thanks to chatgpt," along with images of eight women created using artificial intelligence (AI).
Through this, the embassy suggested that the claim was not based on real facts. The use of AI images was meant to mock the situation and question the accuracy of the statement.
Iran Denies Any Execution Plans
The issue started after Trump said that Iran had agreed not to execute eight women protesters. He called it “very good news" and claimed that some of the women would be released while others would face short prison terms.
However, Iran’s judiciary strongly denied this, as per reports. Officials said that no such executions were ever planned in the first place.
“Trump’s empty-handedness in the battlefield has pushed him towards fabricating achievements from false news," Iran’s judiciary news agency Mizan said as quoted by Moneycontrol. Another statement by the judiciary’s official Mizan Online website added, “Trump was misled once again by fake news."
Iran reportedly also said that some of the women referenced had already been released. Others, they said, could face jail time at most, not execution.
US Stands By Trump’s Statement
Despite Iran’s denial, the White House supported Trump’s claim. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said, “Only President Trump could save the lives of these eight beautiful Iranian women… their lives are going to be spared." She also described him as “a humanitarian at heart."
The exchange comes at a time when tensions between the two countries remain high, even as a ceasefire continues.
